Kim Kardashian's Plastic Surgery Confession

The Kardashian girls are so strikingly beautiful, and the question on everyone’s minds is: have they had work done??? The ladies— Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and mom Kris Jenner—all sit down on ABC’s Nightline tonight to answer it. 

Kim tells ABC’s Cynthia McFadden that despite the rumors, she has never had any work done. And that includes having had her breasts enhanced. She does, however, admit to using Botox.

"Trust me honey," she jokes to McFadden, "if I take this bra off you will tell me I need to get them done. I'm totally not against plastic surgery. ... I've tried Botox before. That's the only thing

Well hasn’t everyone in Hollywood?! The reporter also grills Kim about her nose, a feature many think has been changed cosmetically. "I've never had my nose done," insists Kim. "But what's funny is about my nose, it's my biggest insecurity. I always want to get my nose done. ... I went to a doctor, I had them take the pictures, he showed me what it would look like and it just didn't-- It-- I wouldn't look the same." 

One sister who did admit to going under the knife is Kourtney, "I have had breast implants, but it's so funny 'cause it's not a secret, I could care less. It's so funny because the 'before' picture that they [In Touch magazine] showed was after I had my boob job, so I'm like, they should have written 'before Mason' and 'after Mason.' Like my boobs have like tripled since breastfeeding." 

Other parts of the interview touch upon Khloe’s marriage to Lamar Odom and the rumor that E! paid for the whole thing, and that Kris pushed Kim into doing Playboy.

Did Kim Kardashian Get Plastic Surgery?

Kim Kardashian has a strikingly pretty face to compliment her famously curvy body, and although she’s denied plastic surgery rumors her face looks much different than it did just four years ago.

Here she is back when she was known as a “celebrity stylist” attending the William Rast Spring 2007 ‘Street Sexy’ fashion show at Social Hollywood on October 17, 2006 in Los Angeles, California. (To those who are skeptical, this is most definitely Kim Kardashian circa 2006):

Her nose is distinctly different now. The rest of the changes can be attributed to better skin care and makeup techniques, but her sniffer is definitely looking slimmer and more shapely these days. You can’t attribute that to anti-cellulite treatments and QuickTrim. In the after picture from earlier this month, it looks like her lips are injection-free, which is certainly the better way to go. Why go duckface when you have full, bow-shaped lips?

Although Kim denies having any “surgery” her ex husband Damon Thomas claimed that his ex-wife has had “extensive” plastic surgery, including a boob job, and liposuction. Kim hasn’t denied the liposuction, and the divorce papers that leaked claimed that Damon, who was reportedly physically abusive, forced her to have the invasive procedure done.

Kim has also had Botox on camera, and had her cellulite treated with VelaShape, but her bottom usually looks pretty real in pictures. Some claim she’s had butt implants, but she got her booty x-rayed for an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians to prove those rumors wrong.

Recently people have been wondering if the professional celebrity has had any other work done. Maybe nothing invasive, but she may have had some sort of “liquid facelift” (which involves injectables like Restylane to fill in parts of the face.) Combined with Botox, it can create a wrinkle-free look, but may change the shape and look of the face.

Ever since her sexually intoxicating break through role in Transformers people have been asking whether or not uber hottie Megan Fox has had and plastic surgery performed. Tabloids and bloggers have speculated on everything from a nose job to boob job to lip injections to cheek filler, but through it all Fox’s rep adamantly denies that she has hadANY enhancements done.

Being the diligent journalist that I am I thought I might take on this important question and see what evidence I could find (if any) of perceptible alterations in Megan’s face or breastial area. The conclusion? There’s no doubt Megan’s lips can get a little puffier nowadays than they used to be, but since that isn’t really permanent and relatively easy to see by just googling “Megan Fox” I’m going to skip it here.

As far as a nose job goes, the best side-by-side evidence I could find is in the photo above. I think it is pretty clear that something is different between those two Fox schnozes – it looks as though she had the tip shaved and the bump in the bridge smoothed out. (With these two images I just don’t see how you can debate whether or not she’s had plastic surgery done to her nose, but feel free to disagree in the comments below!)

Cheek filler was a no go. I couldn’t see it anyway. Perhaps that’s because I have an untrained eye, I don’t know.

One thing I do have a trained eye for are breasts! I’m sure anyone who’s a Megan Fox fan remembers when the faux topless photos of Megan surfaced from the set of Jennifer’s Body in May of 2008 showing Megan dripping wet in nothing but a couple flesh-colored nipple pasties. Here’s one of those images (I added an extra layer of censorship just to be safe) paired next to Megan’s infamous wet dress scene from How To Lose Friends And Alienate People from the summer of 2007:

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t see how those Megan mounds on the right could possibly be tucked under that flimsy wet top on the left! Plus, it would seem to make sense that Megan would have an enhancement done prior to making Jennifer’s Body because she was the central character in the movie and it required nude scenes.

Unlike her nose, I’m willing to concede that it’s possible Megan hasn’t had a b00b job. But, I’m still feeling pretty confident that she has! That being said, here’s a photo of Megan and David Gallagher at a Lakers game in 2004 that would seem to suggest Megan has had a lot going on upstairs for some time, but I’m going to chalk it up to Megan’s amazing ability to squish mountains out of mole hills. (Plus, she looks a bit heavier all around)

Basically the entire Kardashian family has been rumored to have underwent some type of plastic surgery procedure, whether it Kim and her mother Kris getting nose jobs or Kourtney's breast implants, and lets not forget about ol' Bruce Jenner and his array of highly publicized plastic surgery operations.

And with that being said, it comes as no surprise that Khloe Kardashianwould be suspected of getting a plastic surgery operation or two, right?

Well, all the plastic surgery gossip surrounding Khloe seems to be regarding her alleged nose job (Rhino Plasty), and even though I'm not totally sold on the idea, many people seem to disagree and point to the before and after photo.

I have a lot of young patient’s who bring me pictures of the “Kim Kardashian nose job” during their pre-operative visit at my Los Angeles office. What I’m impressed with beyond her natural beauty, is that these young patients could even recognize Kim Kardashian’s plastic surgery. It is a subtle change, but does all the wonderful things that finesse rhinoplasty can do. Kim Kardashian’s plastic surgeon must have know that s/he was messing with near perfection. But the human perception can be highly fickle, and anything that distracts from the beautiful symmetry of someone’s eyes will undermine our attention. This is a subconscious phenomenon that is with us from an early age. Many of my rhinoplasty patients are very articulate about these subtlties.

Here’s what I notice about Kim Kardashian’s plastic surgery from a rhinoplasty surgeon’s point of view. I see a visual line that extends around the eyebrow to the nasal tip. This is the line that forms a frame around the eye on each side. We want it to be a clean concave line. In the before picture, this line starts out flattenned at the brow, then turns concave, and then turns convex toward the tip, giving it a “pear” shape. Her nasal tip is relatively large though reasonably sized given her prominent eyes. Her nasal tip is under-rotated, pointing down especially when she smiles. The post-operative picture shows clean, symmetrical concave visual lines surrounding the eyes. The contour of her lower/tip cartilages have been reduced and refined. Kim Kardashian’s nasal tip has been rotated up in a way that reveals the underside of her delicate nostrils and shortens her nose to a length similar to that of her brow if it were turned 90-degrees on its side.
